This month's image was taken at the top of Castle Hill, in the Castle District, on the Buda side of Budapest.
Clare and I took a short city break to Budapest - We travelled as light as we could, so I decided to leave the big guns at home, and take just the G11 for photos.
We had the weirdest weather over the 4 days - Lovely sunshine and blue sky during the day, then every evening, as if by clockwork, huge thunder storms.
This shot was taken 10 minutes before a huge storm hit.
The sun was low in the sky (you can see it picked out in the windows of the building at the back) - Which bathed the church in light, against the dark clouds behind.
I have adjusted the contrast slightly in Aperture3, but this is pretty much straight from camera.
Hope you like it!
