This was taken using the budget studio set-up again (1x SB800 and 1x SB600) and a simple white sheet as a background.
I used a low shooting position, shooting up at Clare, to emphasis the feeling of 'power and control'. I think it gives the image a very 'corporate' look.
The 50mm 1.8, used here at f2, narrowed the depth of field which picked out the hands, and threw the rest of the image into soft focus.
Converted to B&W is Photoshop CS4.
The SB-800 was shot through a white brolley. The SB-600 was shot on low power against a white reflector to provide the fill light, as seen in the diagram here.
